The 4P Saenz 300M Midget Connecting Rod was designed after seeing years of engine abuse from national level race cars. We examined several different styles of connecting rods and analyzed bearing wear in engines that came in for service, and engines that failed. If you are running a series under 9000 rpm, then you can run a standard 4340 Saenz Performance Series I-Beam connecting rod. If you are running at a national level and plan to see 9600 and beating up the limiters, we highly recommend you spend the extra money on this rod for longevity. These can go through multiple engine service intervals.
